Wolfgang Van Halen’s engagement ring for his fiancee pleads for sweating the details – exclusively

Today in news that might actually brighten your day for once, Wolfgang Van Halen – son of the late Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli – popped the question of his longtime girlfriend Andraia Allsop, which he announced on his Instagram. Wolfgang uploaded an adorable picture of herself and Allsop showing off her engagement ring, with the simple caption: “She said yes!”

Because this family is just the cutest, Bertinelli (whose Instagram name is Wolfie’s mom, by the way) commented, “How can I [heart emoji] that a million times? So happy!” Bertinelli also posted the photo on her own IG page.

And while the online image of Allsop’s ring makes it a bit difficult to make out the details of her rock, as far as we can tell Wolfgang definitely didn’t skimp on the details. At least that’s what expert Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, says about Nicki Swift.

Wolf Van Halen proposed with a gorgeous ring

Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, tells Nicki Swift that Andraia Allsops isn’t just any engagement ring. “The ring that Wolf Van Halen chose for his fiancée, Andraia Allsop, appears to be designed with exquisite detail,” says Fried. He explains, “It’s a halo setting with a pavé band that gives the ring both character and brilliance.”

So, um, how much would a ring like that set a person back you ask? “I would estimate the center stone to be 3 to 4 carats and worth at least $100,000,” says Fried. Van Halen really isn’t messing around here – we love this for them!

Wolfgang Van Halen and Adraia Allsop prefer to stay out of the limelight

Wolfgang Van Halen and Andraia Allsop (whose own Instagram is private) tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. We know they started dating in 2015, judging from a “Happy Anniversary” post Van Halen dedicated to her on his Instagram in 2018. Allsop also made the rare public appearance when she accompanied Van Halen (and his mom!) to the 2022 Grammys.

Having grown up in the spotlight, it’s no surprise that Van Halen prefers to keep his personal life private. In 2021, he joked to Classic Rock, “I now feel like a veteran at dealing with unwarranted criticism.” Hey, no criticism here; But in the future, we’d love to see Allsop make another red carpet appearance alongside her fiancé!
