Will Smith takes his career comeback on a perilous journey

Will Smith has just popped up in a place you probably least expect to see one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, with an estimated net worth of $350 million. As you most likely already know (seriously, if you don’t already know, you must have been living under a rock), in the wake of his dramatic Oscars controversy in March, where he strutted the stages, Will slouched pretty low — and Slap Awards host Chris Rock after he joked about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair (despite being diagnosed with alopecia).

The fallout was huge, and Will was banned from the Oscars for a decade and slammed by some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The actor has since apologized to Rock on a number of occasions, including in late July when he shared a YouTube video claiming he had reached out but hadn’t had a proper conversation with him. “I’ll tell you Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk,” Smith shared in the long clip.

But what did he actually do while slipping pretty much under the radar in the wake of the drama? Well, we know Will and Jada first showed up for a date night in August, but now we know Will also visited a very unexpected place.

Will Smith was spotted on an Ecuadorian train

We told you that Will Smith has just been spotted in one of the most random of places. Yes, it turns out Will Smith was photographed on a train in Nariz del Diablo, Ecuador on August 30th – and we have the photo to prove it! As you can see, Smith gave credit to locals who took pictures of him wearing a bright yellow top and baseball cap. According to the Daily Mail, Jada Pinkett Smith’s husband’s ride probably wasn’t smooth as the route is considered one of the most dangerous in the entire world due to its proximity to cliffs, while also having some steep hills and turns.

What was the star doing there? Well, it doesn’t look like Ecuador will be the star’s latest vacation destination. Instead, he reportedly shot scenes for Season 2 of the National Geographic documentary series Welcome To Earth. He was also seen looking around the town of Alausi, but his family did not appear to be there.

However, this isn’t the first time Will has gone international following his scandal. In the month after the slap, which was seen around the world, a source claimed to People that the father-of-three was spotted in Mumbai, India, after reportedly going there to get more in touch with his spirituality through meditation and yoga.
