What Landon Clements has been up to since Southern Charm

Landon Clements had his fair share of drama on the Bravo TV show Southern Charm. According to Screen Rant, Clements and co-star Kathryn Dennis had been at it for the entire time Clements was part of the show, going so far as Dennis accused Clements of having an affair with Thomas Ravenel while she was pregnant .

“Thomas and I are really good friends,” Clements told Entertainment Tonight in 2017, debunking the romance rumors. “I’ve known him forever. He’s more like a family member, an uncle or a cousin or something. We have never exceeded these limits and never will.”

After two seasons on Southern Charm, Clements announced she was leaving the show. According to Us Weekly, her feud with Dennis was part of the reason she left, saying it was “too much negativity” to be around her. But Clements felt she needed to move away from the cameras and follow her dreams, which ultimately led to her departure.

Reality TV star turned real estate mogul

Landon Clements left Southern Charm so she could focus on her passion for real estate, per Distractify, and she moved to Malibu, California. According to Reality Blurb, the reality TV star responded to a comment on Instagram and confirmed that she would not be returning to the show. It was also said that she was replaced by Ashley Jacobs, who happened to be Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend at the time.

“I have decided to return to California where I will continue my career in the residential real estate industry,” Clements told The Daily Dish in 2017. “I recently renewed my license and am very excited to join the CLIMB Real Estate team. While I won I will not be returning to Southern Charm, I look forward to this next chapter in my life.”

Clements later told People that she loved being on the show, but was keen to get back into real estate. She also revealed that with the exception of Kathryn Dennis, she still keeps in touch with her Southern Charm co-stars.

Looking for a new romantic partner

Clements wanted to focus not only on her professional life, but also on her personal life — mainly her love life — especially after allegations of Kathryn Dennis’ affair. According to Us Weekly, Clements and businessman James Maby were married and divorced for five years before she was introduced on “Southern Charm.” She also had an affair with co-star Shepard “Shep” Rose. After being in Charleston, Clements looked forward to being in a more populated place to meet new people.

“[Charleston is] a very, very small town and there are amazing people there, but I’ve literally known it since we were kids,” she told People in 2017. “It’s difficult at best, which is another big reason I went to California . … I don’t really want to get married again at the moment. I’m focused on my career and I want to get the real estate stuff going and then I’m going to try to figure it all out.”

“Southern Charm” alum Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio attempted to play the matchmaker in a 2018 episode of “1st Look,” which Devenanzio hosts on Bravo TV. The episode shows Devenanzio setting Clements up with a guy named Rupert. It seems the couple didn’t last too long as Clements is busy working and spending time with her stepdaughter.
