Wendy Williams knows exactly what she’s looking for in a new relationship

Wendy Williams is looking for a new man. It’s safe to say the star hasn’t had the easiest time when it comes to love after the Daily Mail blasted 2017 that Williams’ husband Kevin Hunter was allegedly living a double life and cheating on the former talk show host. The Sun then shared photos of Hunter with the child he allegedly fathered with his mistress four years later.

Williams and Hunter officially finalized their divorce in 2020, but the former didn’t waste much time dating again after their split. In fact, prior to taking her leave of absence from her talk show before she left the airwaves, Williams used “The Wendy Williams Show” to find a beau and even asked potential suitors to submit videos of why they would be dating her. The winner of the contest was Mike Esterman, and Williams shared on the show they’d taken part in a few dates, but said in May 2021 after breakup rumors surfaced they never actually dated, per Today. Then in August 2021, Williams confirmed on Instagram that she had a new man in her life, hinting that he may have met her family. In the since-deleted post, Williams snuggled up to the mystery man alongside the caption, “My son’s 21st birthday party on the yacht in #Miami was everything he wanted! Even my friend.”

But it looks like that sadly didn’t last, and Williams is back on the dating scene.

Wendy Williams wants her boyfriend to make more money than she does

Wendy Williams has revealed she’s looking for love – but won’t be walking down the aisle again. “There’s no money to get married, so I’ll never get married again. The star has been pretty open about her requirements for a new boyfriend since splitting from Kevin Hunter. Back in 2019, she admitted to Hollywood Life that she would like her husband to have adult children, if any. “I’m not dealing with a five-year-old who calls me mom. Get out with it! A freshman in high school who needs help with their homework? Get out with it!” she said. “Oh, and if there are grown children, they shouldn’t be living at home,” she added. Williams also spoke to TMZ about her 2019 dating must-have list, saying she’s looking for “great conversation” and “a heavy credit card.”
