Wendy Williams’ health seems to be taking a turn for the better

Following her inability to return to her talk show The Wendy Williams Show, fans became concerned for Williams – who appeared frail and unhealthy in a series of videos posted online. Similarly, a source close to the embattled talk show host told Page Six that William’s family was also alarmed by her erratic behavior. “Things are really bad. It’s not the same Wendy… She’s been going back like crazy and her family in Florida is very worried about her,” the insider revealed. Additionally, William Selby – who acted as William’s representative – admitted the former radio disc jockey wasn’t entirely ready to return to the public eye.

Finally, in September, Williams entered a health spa to address her health issues. “She’s taking some time to focus on her health and well-being as she prepares for a big comeback for the next stage of her career with ‘The Wendy Experience Podcast,'” read a statement sent to People was sent.

Wendy Williams is back and better than ever

There have been several incidents in recent months that have raised concerns about Wendy Williams’ health. From appearing to swoon in a Louis Vuitton store to telling the New York Post that she’s single and “ready to fuck,” Williams’ behavior over the past year has worried those around her. After a wellness stay, however, the former daily speaker is said to feel much better.

“We are pleased to announce that Wendy Williams is home and recovering after being in a wellness facility since August,” her publicist, Shawn Zanotti, told People in a statement. “Wendy is excited about the path that lies ahead and looks forward to sharing her many projects.” Williams herself had a special message for fans, adding that she was “back and better than ever.”

The news of Williams’ improved health came just a day after her friend, host Rosanna Scotto, told Page Six that the Emmy-nominated broadcaster was considering opening a restaurant. And while Scotto didn’t discuss the details of Williams’ health, the “Good Day New York” host revealed that she recently spoke with the television personality.
