Tom Brady spells out where his allegiances lie amid reported Gisele Bundchen marital drama

Many fans would agree that Tom Brady carries a lot of weight on his shoulders. Being the greatest of all time isn’t easy, which is probably why Brady keeps changing his mind about how he wants to end his career. He’s also a family man, married to arguably one of the most beautiful women in the world: supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Brady has reportedly been pressured into doing something to save his marriage before it’s too late. “Gisele is waiting for Tom to make a big gesture of support for her,” a source close to the situation told Us Weekly after reports suggested the Brazilian beauty had already hired a divorce lawyer.

And while Brady has proven time and time again that his love for Bundchen has stayed strong over the years, the model is reportedly fed up with his longstanding commitment to his career. In fact, in 2017, Brady said, “If it were up to my wife, she would retire me today,” according to Inside Edition.

However, it looks like Brady has once again made it clear where his allegiances lie, as reports continue to suggest he and Bundchen are fully headed for Splitsville.

Tom Brady wants to stay authentic

During his SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” Brady makes it pretty clear that he’s only focused on one thing these days, and that’s himself. Hinting that he puts his own priorities ahead of others, the father of three said: ” You can only really be authentic with yourself.” Brady then described how a typical NFL season feels almost like being deployed by the military. “Anytime you’re like, ‘Oh man, I want to make sure I spend some more time on this,’ your competitiveness takes over,” he explained. “And as much as you want to have that play balance with the work balance, you’re going to end up doing exactly what you’ve always done.”

Meanwhile, Gisele Bundchen is doing her own thing. TMZ saw her hanging out with her daughter Vivian and getting some much-needed healing sessions in between all her visits to her divorce lawyer’s office. Interestingly, in a September interview with Elle, Bundchen also hinted that she wants to return to the spotlight after devoting her last few years to her family. She said: “I feel very fulfilled as a mother and as a wife. And now it’s my turn.” One can only wonder what Brady has to say about that.
