This celebrity stunned Steve Harvey with a response to the NSFW family feud

The famous game show Family Feud has given viewers some good laughs over the years. For example, one woman hilariously responded during a sudden death lap question on a 2020 episode of “Family Feud Canada.” When asked what Popeye’s favorite food was, the woman immediately buzzed in and confidently said “chicken,” referring to Popeye’s fried chicken restaurant. The answer, as well as the woman’s reaction at the end, went viral.

“The answer that’s up there isn’t going to go viral,” Steve Harvey, the host of Family Feud, told People in July. “That’s it Not it’s going to go viral up there.” The moderator also mentioned that he usually knows when a reply will be trending the next day. “I tell people all the time, ‘You’re going to be on YouTube,'” he added. “I know the moments.”

However, those moments are what viewers live for. Laughter could come from the funny answers, Harvey’s reaction, or a combination of both. And sometimes the funny answer might come from the candidate who is least expected to give it.

Kristin Chenoweth is no longer Glinda the Good Witch

The spin-off show Celebrity Family Feud has become hugely popular as people’s favorite stars can play the iconic game to win money for a charity of their choice. The show sometimes includes the celebrity’s family members and sometimes co-stars of the film or television show in which the celebrity is starring. On August 14, Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth’s response became the episode’s viral response.

“By the lips, what’s your favorite thing to kiss about a man?” asked the show’s host Steve Harvey. “Rhymes with disgusting,” the actor replied. The word was paged out as it aired. Chenoweth got laughs and stunned reactions from the audience, the other contestants and Harvey. “I’m sorry,” she said after gasping and laughing. “I’m a good Christian girl. Forgive me.”

The “Wicked” star’s response wasn’t the only response that left Harvey speechless. The band Boyz II Men made the audience laugh with a simple misspelling during their performance on Celebrity Family Feud. The band had to “name a month of the year with five letters”. Wanya Morris responded with “July”, which is four letters, and Shawn Stockman responded with “August”, which is six letters. These stars can handle the pressure of performing in front of thousands of people, but apparently that doesn’t compare to the pressure of having to answer a simple question under time pressure.
