Judging by her demeanor on the show alone, Diana Jenkins takes her position as Drama Instigator In Chief on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills very seriously, which begs the question: Why wouldn’t she be in the reunion taping? Traditionally, in order for a real-life housewife not to be able to participate in taping the reunion show (which we’re pretty sure is part of the contract), she has to be in serious legal jeopardy or in the midst of inter-cast drama so severe, that she is about to leave the show and ready to face a lawsuit.
As Jenkins made clear during her season on “RHOBH,” she can certainly afford the legal fees, so it’s not out of the question that she just went too far to see the show through to the end. After all, she’s made great bonds with co-star Sutton Stracke and wasn’t shy about continuing to stoke tensions on social media after the show aired, according to Reality Blurb. But what’s the real reason for Jenkins’ absence?
Diana Jenkins caught COVID
Of course, Diana Jenkins isn’t backing out of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping because she’s afraid of a confrontation! (Eh, have you seen that show?) No, the answer appears to be COVID-19. According to TMZ, an unnamed source confirmed Jenkins has tested positive for COVID-19 and is symptomatic, preventing her from attending the reunion in person. But, drama lovers, fear not, she’ll still be able to attend via Zoom.
We’re betting that Erika Jayne and the ongoing legal battles will make up a lot of the reunion show drama, but it seems like Jenkins is still ready to (virtually) prostrate himself. Not only did Jenkins refer to Sutton Stracke as CU on next Tuesday’s show (via Vulture), but she also posted shady jokes to Instagram at the expense of Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais — though she wasn’t the bot responsible for attacks on Beauvais . son, as shown by their legal records (also posted on Instagram).
