Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship has changed quickly. After they got together in 2004, Pitt adopted Jolie’s children Maddox and Zahara Jolie. In January 2006, she showed a baby bump. Per Rolling Stone, there were six little Jolie-Pitts when they married in 2014. They seemed like the perfect family until Pitt and Jolie’s relationship took a dark turn. Per TMZ, Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 15, 2016, and immediately went on the offensive, accusing Pitt of substance abuse, anger issues, and poor parenting.
Pitt admitted that substance abuse and anger had consumed him and shared that he joined Alcoholics Anonymous after the breakup. The actor possessed his demons and revealed his “ugly side” in a candid interview with The New York Times. However, a recently uncovered FBI report shows just how ugly Pitt and Jolie’s subsequent custody battle got and reveals the devastating way Pitt reportedly described his child with Jolie.
Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of abusive parenting
NBC News obtained an FBI report detailing the argument between Pitt and Jolie on the plane that turned out to be the catalyst for their divorce. Jolie claimed Pitt was aggressive and intoxicated when he “attacked physically and verbally [her] and the kids.” Pitt reportedly threw beers at Jolie, accused her of “ruining her family,” and lashed out violently, banging on the ceiling of their private jet. Jolie also claimed that Pitt allegedly said one of her children “looks like a *** *ing Columbine kid.”
When another passenger on the plane – believed to be one of the children – told the Ad Astra star, “It’s not her, it’s you, you asshole,” Jolie claimed she had to physically restrain her then-husband to stop him to attack them. She claimed the incident injured her hand and elbow and included photos in the FBI report. She also said that upon landing, Pitt said, “You’re not getting off that damn plane. F*** you all. I’m fucking leaving you.”
Per Us Weekly, Jolie previously claimed there was an alleged incident between Pitt and Maddox. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services opened an investigation but acquitted Pitt of wrongdoing. Page Six reported that Jolie is believed to be behind the released FBI documents. A source said she was “desperately trying to find something new” to use against Pitt in their never-ending custody battle. Jolie is reportedly the “Jane Doe” who has filed a lawsuit demanding the FBI release the recordings as part of an investigation into why Pitt was not prosecuted for the alleged incident with Maddox.
