Savannah Guthrie Opens Up About Bonding With Hoda Kotb Amid Feud Rumors

The “Today” show co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie have been in an alleged feud since late July. Speculation began with an awkward encounter while the two co-hosts were cooking on the show, per OK! Magazine. Kotb asked if they were done cooking, and Guthrie thrashed a little in a hasty and seemingly annoyed response to her co-host’s question. But in a recent interview, a source said the feud is far from the truth.

“It’s unfortunate to see and hear rumors that aren’t based on reality,” the insider told Good Housekeeping on Aug. 16.

While there may not be an argument between the two hosts, a body language expert told The US Sun that Kotb and Guthrie’s personalities are inherently opposite, which creates “the perfect balance on the show”. The expert backed up her explanation by claiming that stress can sometimes strengthen personality, which can lead to tension. And it seems the two co-hosts can still support each other despite drama rumours.

Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie are bonding over motherhood

The “Today” show co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie have revealed they are able to support each other despite being in an alleged feud. Though Kotb recently posted a vague quote about relationships, which some saw as a subtle goal of her relationship with her co-host The US Sun, Guthrie was still excited when she shared the cover of People magazine with Kotb on the morning news show. “You ladies look so cute,” Guthrie said. “Let’s go to the store and buy all the copies!”

The two have also bonded over being moms. “We try to exchange ideas,” Guthrie told People on Aug. 17. “It’s so unusual and so wonderful to have someone who is your peer and is not just a mother, but a mother to children who are practically the same age,” she added. “And so we’re going through a lot of the same things at the same time.”

The two moms have previously opened up about the bond they share. In a March interview with Good Housekeeping, both Kotb and Guthrie admitted they talk to each other and “act off,” especially when faced with the struggles of parenthood. Here’s hoping the alleged feud between the two co-hosts doesn’t get in the way of the way they appear to be supportive of one another.
