Khloé Kardashian and her brother Rob Kardashian have always been quite close over the years. The two’s apparent bond was particularly evident in the earlier seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which revealed that the two lived together for many years even after Khloé married her now-ex-husband, Lamar Odom.
Khloé went on to make it pretty clear that this close bond remained unbroken in the years that followed, including in 2019, when she shared an exuberant birthday tribute to Rob on Instagram, sharing how lucky she felt to have him in her life. “You are my best friend! The funniest guy I know! Really, I’ve never laughed more than when I’m with you. I will support you through whatever life throws your way!” Khloé wrote in the super cute post alongside several videos of the reality star dancing. “Never change your sweet and hysterical mind!! You are enough! You always will be!!” She then partially continued, signing her message, “I will love you forever and ever.”
However, fans began to wonder if the two might have hit a rocky patch in their sibling relationship, as Rob — who has been living an increasingly reclusive life since around 2013 — has been appearing less and less on Khloé’s social media accounts, while Khloé hasn’t spoken out either seemed to her brother in interviews as much as it used to be. But now? It seems Rob is making it pretty clear that the brother-sister duo still get along well.
Rob Kardashian’s rare public message to Khloé Kardashian
Rob Kardashian took a rare step on Instagram on Aug. 15 when he shared a sweet and supportive message for his older sister, Khloé Kardashian. The public presentation came after Khloé shared a photo of herself lying on the floor surrounded by jeans from her Good American line, prompting Rob to comment, “My pretty princess, sparkling girl.” Cute! Although it appeared the message came directly from Rob, it’s worth noting that Dream’s father’s account in his bio states that it is actually operated by Jenner Communications, so his sweet message for his big sister may have come through an intermediary could have come.
Rob’s Instagram account consists almost entirely of adorable snaps of his baby girl, Dream, and Rob hasn’t shared a picture with Khloé since September 2020. Back then, during one of the Kardashians’ infamous family photo shoots, he posted a throwback photo of the two rocking double denim as kids and captioned it “Bang Bang.”
Though Rob has mostly avoided the limelight throughout his relationship with Blac Chyna, he was spotted celebrating Khloé’s birthday in June. Rob wasn’t exactly the center of attention, but he did feature in the background of one of sister Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Stories – who can still be seen via Us Weekly – as she filmed the birthday boy.
