Pete Davidson’s sister shares heartbreaking tribute to her late father

If you have a tissue handy, we think now is a good time to pull it out. These days, most of us think of Pete Davidson as the witty prankster from Saturday Night Live, but the last time his dad saw him, he was just a beaming 7-year-old with a bright future ahead of him. Unfortunately, Scott Davidson, a firefighter, never saw his son become one of the youngest members of the “SNL” roster.

According to the New York Post, Scott died over two decades ago after running up the stairs of the Marriott World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001 — just before the collapse of the North Tower claimed the lives of countless people trying to save.

Casey Davidson, the comedian’s 24-year-old sister, recently took to Instagram to pay a heartbreaking tribute to her father on the 21st anniversary of his death.
