Melissa Gorga sets the record straight over her RHONJ future

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice wed boyfriend Luis Ruelas in a late summer wedding, and her brother and sister-in-law were nowhere to be seen. Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga did not witness the wedding due to speculation that there was wedding drama behind the scenes. People reports that the celebration was attended by the likes of Kenya Moore, Loni Love, Dorinda Medley and Cynthia Bailey, but “B**** Boy” and his wife were noticeably absent. Of course, “RHONJ” fans know that there has been ongoing tension between Melissa and Giudice ever since she announced that her sister-in-law would not be part of her bridal shower, per People. Things apparently escalated quickly when Giudice caught wind of a lewd rumor about Melissa.

According to the Daily Mail, the stars were filming the season finale when things got nasty. Giudice apparently accused Melissa of cheating on Joe with a close friend, Nick Barotta. Both Melissa and Joe have vehemently denied the rumors. A source told the outlet, “There’s absolutely no truth to this nasty rumor, and it’s weird that it even needs to be addressed.” On their On Display podcast, Melissa and Joe discussed why they didn’t attend the wedding. She felt that after their struggle, the wedding guests would “find it very strange for you guys to just sit in the pews tomorrow and wish them all the best on their wedding day.” Melissa has now addressed another rumor regarding her appearance on RHONJ.

Melissa Gorga is not leaving RHONJ

Melissa Gorga ghosted Teresa Giudice’s wedding and all tongues broke loose. Rumors swirled that she was leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey after her On Display podcast. The Bravolebrity posted a preview of their podcast on their Instagram. In the audio, she says, “There’s power in moving away from something toxic.” Melissa adds, “Sometimes when things are too toxic and you keep trying and trying and trying and it keeps coming back to the same thing , you just have to let it go, even when it’s about family.” Some fans questioned her statement, asking, “‘Walking away’, like cutting ties completely, would also mean walking away from the show. Do you do that too?”

Gorga then addressed the rumors of her exit from the show in an Instagram story. Via Page Six, she explained, “People are taking parts of my podcast and assuming I’m leaving the show.” She continued, “That’s how rumors start. I never said I was leaving the show. I was just clarifying how we felt after a difficult weekend. We have no intention of leaving. #RHONJ.” It seems like Gorga’s podcast was about her staying away from the wedding and had nothing to do with being on RHONJ. That’s good news for “RHONJ” fans, because nothing quite satisfies like a slap at Melissa and Teresa.
