Meghan Markle’s admission about her new Netflix documentary is revealing

King Charles III has several dark clouds over his new reign. The new king is nervous about the upcoming season of The Crown. According to The Guardian, viewership of the Netflix series increased by 800% after Queen Elizabeth’s death, and Season 5 is reportedly not looking good for Charles. Additionally, Buckingham Palace is sweating over the fallout from Harry, the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming memoir, and now the royals are worried about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix series. But Charles and Queen Consort Camilla might have a few things to worry about.

The BBC documentary Reinventing the Royals claimed Charles sold his sons to the tabloids to build up his mistress Camilla Parker Bowles and improve his public profile. Charles and Camilla reportedly launched a year-long public relations campaign just ten months after Princess Diana’s death, and Charles violated William and Harry’s privacy when they were teenagers by selling negative stories about his grieving sons to make themselves look better to let. According to the book The Palace Papers (via Insider), Charles hired ruthless weirdo Mark Bolland in 1996 to improve his image, rehabilitate Camilla’s image, and get the public to accept her as Charles’ future wife and queen.

But Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, made a revealing confession about the Netflix documentary.

Meghan Markle says documentaries are told differently

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex said director Liz Garbus is narrating the story about her and Harry, Duke of Sussex in her Netflix documentaries. Meghan told Variety, “It’s nice to entrust our story to someone – an experienced director whose work I’ve long admired – even if it means it might not be how we would have told it. But that’s not why we’re telling it. We entrust our story to someone else, and that means it’s going to go through their lens.” The mother-of-two had a poignant recollection of Queen Elizabeth II, telling Variety, “Certainly she is the brightest example of that in terms of female leadership you know what that looks like.” The media reports that the Netflix documentary series will be postponed to 2023 seem wrong. Harry and Meghan’s Netflix show could appear as planned after all.
