Megan Fox has been a fashion icon for decades. Since she burst into mainstream attention for her role as Mikaela Banes in Michael Bay’s 2007 film Transformers, the brunette beauty has been a go-to for red carpet inspiration and trends. Women’s Wear Daily notes that some of the actor’s best looks included clothing from designers such as Mugler, Peter Dundas, David Koma, Alex Perry and Mach & Mach. If one thing is clear, it’s that there’s little she can’t pull off.
As in recent months, Fox was often accompanied by her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly née Colson Baker, who similarly strutted his high-end designs off the runway. Typically, Fox has dark brunette locks and bright blue eyes when it comes to her glamour. But on June 27, she ditched her trademark dark locks for a lighter look, and it looks like Fox took inspiration from a highly anticipated film.
Megan Fox lives life in pink
On June 27, Fox performed with her husband Machine Gun Kelly in New York City, sporting pink blonde hair and a matching dress. Her fiancé did the same, wearing a skintight pink shirt and bright pink hair. Even Fox’s shoes were strappy, high, and pink. The event they attended that night was the premiere of Kelly’s latest Hulu documentary, Machine Gun Kelly’s Life in Pink, according to the Daily Mail, which explains the matching pink outfits! According to the outlet, the documentary gives fans a glimpse into the couple’s life together.
But Fox isn’t the only blonde beauty wearing pink these days. Fellow actress Margot Robbie will play Barbie in an upcoming film directed by Greta Gerwig. On-set photos of Barbie-fied Robbie and her co-star Ryan Gosling as Ken have been doing the rounds on social media, and their Mattel-inspired looks have been praised by fans of pink. According to Elle, the plot of the film is still unknown at this point. However, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie shared, “Whatever you think we’re going to give you something completely different — the one you didn’t want.”
But while Robbie may be ready to appear in the role of Barbie, Fox’s pink look certainly gives Robbie some competition.
