Megan Fox claps back at critics of parenting on social media

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green finalized their divorce in February, but they still have to stay in each other’s lives in some way as they are raising their three children together. The former couple’s post-breakup feud got a little too public after Fox began dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly and made their new relationship official on Instagram in August 2020. After Fox posted a mirror selfie with MGK on Instagram with the caption, “Painfully beautiful boy.” .. my heart is yours,” Green appeared to shadow his ex-wife by posting photos of his children with the exact same caption.

Some social media users believed Green’s dig indicated Fox wasn’t spending enough time with her kids. Despite the online drama, Green insisted he still loved and respected Fox during an appearance on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast shortly after (via ET). “I wish Megan the very best in everything,” Green said. “I want her to be completely happy, for her, for the kids. That’s super important.”

Fox and Green appeared to end their feud online, but the backlash for parents never seemed to stop. In fact, Fox recently clapped back at a social media user for asking how much time she spends with her kids.

Megan Fox shuts down parenting critics online

Megan Fox is no stranger to receiving criticism and shady comments online, but it’s rare for her to respond. However, when a social media user recently commented, “Where are your kids?” In an Instagram selfie she posted (via ET), Fox clapped back. She responded to the comment: “Wait, wait, wait. I… have kids?!? Oh my god I knew I forgot something! Quick, someone call valet at the Beverly Hills Hotel. That’s the last place I remember seeing them. Maybe someone turned them into lost property.”

Many Instagram users came out in the actor’s defense, with one responding to the comment: “She can’t post selfies because she has kids? Wtf come on get a life please.” Another replied: “Boom. So glad you clapped back, it’s time to stop shaming your mother.” Fox’s fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, meanwhile, left a playful comment on the post, writing, “You corrupted our momentum.”

Fans have taken to other social media platforms to praise the mother-of-three. One tweeted, “Megan Fox is a celebrity who keeps her kids out of the limelight and that’s queen energy.” Now internet trolls might think twice before attacking Fox’s upbringing.
