Machine Gun Kelly’s daughter proves she takes after her famous dad

Machine Gun Kelly’s daughter seems to be following in her father’s footsteps, proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Kelly (real name Colson Baker) welcomed his first child, Casie, with Emma Cannon in 2008. And although the “Emo Girl” rapper has since ended his romantic relationship with Cannon, he seems to have a strong relationship with their daughter.

MGK is not afraid to be a father. “My daughter wears my merch shirts to sleep every night and I’m fucking melting,” Kelly wrote on Twitter in 2020. For Father’s Day 2021, he even put on a pink crown, as an Instagram upload showed the couple bowling with fake swords and enjoying breakfast together.

Casie has also gotten a taste of her dad’s fame. She has appeared at a number of red carpet events alongside her rocker dad and has also appeared in Kelly’s documentary Life In Pink. However, it now looks like Casie inherited her father’s musical ability.

MGK and Casie rap Crazy In Love

Machine Gun Kelly may be one of the coolest dads in Hollywood after a clip of him rapping with his daughter caused a furor online. In the video posted to Instagram, Kelly and his daughter Casie can be seen rapping along to Jay-Z’s verse from Beyoncé’s 2003 hit “Crazy In Love.” The adorable clip, which MGK captioned simply “parenting,” garnered almost 500,000 likes in 24 hours. Many commenters applauded Kelly for the father-daughter moment. “Love it,” singer Monica wrote, while rapper Bun B replied, “Legends make legends.”

In addition to his bond with Casie, Kelly also appears to have maintained a healthy relationship with his daughter’s mother, Emma Cannon. Details of their relationship are largely unknown as Cannon lives in private. However, Kelly has mentioned his ex in the past. In 2020, Kelly gave Cannon a Mother’s Day greeting, praising her for helping raise Casie. “My daughter has an amazing mom,” Kelly tweeted via InTouch Weekly. “Big love to all the young moms out there killing it.”
