Another day, another Kanye “Ye” West drama — only this time he’s targeting his own daughter. West clearly hasn’t had the easiest of times since he and now-ex-wife Kim Kardashian parted ways in 2021, and has repeatedly stirred controversy through questionable interviews, social media posts, and public outbursts.
Just a few examples? In no particular order, West appeared to repeatedly wish comedian Pete Davidson harm during his romance with Kim, got into a war of words with Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian on Instagram, and caused eyebrows around the world to be raised when he wore a t-shirt with the words “White.” Lives Matter” on the front. But that’s not all. West also appeared with Kim’s sextape partner Ray J at a red carpet event for Candace Owens, spreading rumors that his former mother-in-law Kris Jenner had allegedly once been intimate with Drake. Yes, we told you that he caused a lot of controversy after the breakup.
Things seemed to take a turn for the worse in October, however, when West made some startling remarks about his and Kim’s youngest daughter, Chicago.
Kanye West claimed Chicago is ‘a blessing or a problem’
The Kardashians will likely want to cover their ears as Kanye “Ye” West slammed yet again with his inability to keep a close eye. The rapper went viral for comments he made during his “Drunk Champs” interview in October, when he claimed, “Chicago is either going to be a blessing or she’s going to be a problem.” The father-of-four then suggested that she may get outside influences, sharing, “I feel like Hulu, and I feel like Kris is trying to turn her into a problem.” Hulu is, of course, the home of The Kardashians, and Kris seems to be liking Kris Jenner be.
Though West didn’t share why he feels that about his baby daughter, this is hardly the first time Chicago has been publicly addressed by her father. A few days before the interview, West had claimed in a now-deleted Instagram post that he was allegedly not invited to Chicago’s birthday party in January. Per People, that inspired Khloé Kardashian to clapping back in the comments.
As for Kim, she seems, at least publicly, to be staying pretty calm amid West’s outbursts, but his latest claims came just days after she shared an adorable video on Instagram of Chicago and her brother psalm to their father and XXXTentacion rapped hit, “True Love”. The clip showed the pair singing in the car as a cheeky Chicago updated her brother on the correct lyrics.
