The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss opened up to People in August about her future on the hit reality television series, which includes her thoughts on the possibility of Phaedra Parks joining the series after the former friends’ infamous feud could return. For a quick recap, Burruss and Parks, who were once best friends but had a falling out in the 2017 Season 9 reunion episode of the show, when E! messages reported.
Previously, as also reported by People, Burruss said she would leave “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” if Parks returned to the Bravo series, and it doesn’t appear that the two women have made amends behind the scenes since . Remarkably, however, Burruss was a little friendlier when discussing Parks than when she was quoted on It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper as saying, “I just don’t think she and I need to interact.”
So have Burruss’ feelings changed? Well, let’s just say she didn’t mince words on the subject…
Kandi Burruss has given her honest opinion on the matter
Kandi Burruss’ comments on Phaedra Parks stem from an interview with People about her latest music release, If I Get Caught, but it sounds like Burruss doesn’t want to be caught in the same room as Parks again if she can help . When asked if she would like to do another season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta with Parks, People quoted Burruss as saying simply, “No, no. I mean, I’m just being honest.”
Perhaps in this case honesty is the best policy not to start a fire. To that end, Burruss also reached out to fans who wanted to throw their support behind Parks, simply encouraging fans to “support” them if they so choose. Of course, Parks has also spoken out about Burruss, but her comments have been less neutral. Guest-starring on The Wendy Williams Show to promote The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 2, Parks paid Burruss a secret compliment, commenting, “Kandi’s a great businesswoman, but this is six Years ago.” As for herself, Parks has hinted that her professional life has made her better off and she’s made more money in her past from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Speaking about Burruss’ time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she told People, “It’s going to be what it’s going to be. I enjoy being a part of the Bravo family. Regardless, I’m still a part of it.
