Jen Shah Points Finger at Cheating Allegations in Bombshell RHOSLC Season 3 Trailer

Jen Shah is expected to address her legal woes in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and the newly released trailer promises some serious drama. In July, Shah pleaded guilty to conspiracy to wire fraud. And while the reality star originally faced a second charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering, US prosecutors agreed to drop those charges after Shah agreed to amend her original complaint. “From 2012 to March 2021, in the Southern Borough of New York and elsewhere, I conspired with others to commit wire fraud,” Shah said in court (via Good Morning America). Adding: “I knew that was wrong. I knew a lot of people were hurt and I’m so sorry.”

According to NBC News, the agreement sees Shah forfeiting $6.5 million and rebates up to $9.5 million. The outlet also reports that the television personality could face up to 14 years in prison as her sentencing is scheduled for November 28.

Amid all her legal troubles, Shah is set to premiere Season 3 of RHOSLC. In a newly released trailer for the show, the reality star appears to be shifting blame regarding her cheating allegations.

Jen Shah says she is innocent and blames her former assistant

Jen Shah has made an explosive claim about her legal debacle and suggested the finger should be pointed solely at her former assistant, Stuart Smith. In a trailer for The Real Housewives of Salty Lake City Season 3, Shah tries relentlessly to clear her name. “I’m innocent,” she yells in the clip. In another scene from the upcoming season, Shah explains to her castmates that Smith is responsible for the entire ordeal. “I was played by Stuart Smith. Without Stuart I wouldn’t be in this at all,” Shah claimed. The entrepreneur’s comments come as no surprise as she previously stated that she has not spoken to Stuart since the couple’s arrest in March 2021.
