Fans come to Natalia Dyer’s defense after nitpicking TikTok went viral

TikTok is the home of the good, bad, and ugly things, and sadly, Natalia Dyer has stumbled onto the horrible side of the popular social media app.

In a TikTok video that had gone viral, nurse Miranda Wilson shared a photo of Dyer and explained what she would do to her face if given the chance to be her injector. “We would start by treating those masseters to slim the face,” she suggested, saying that the “Stranger Things” star would probably look better with a heart-shaped face (via USA Today). “Next, I would actually add a little bit of chin filler just to fill out her jawline,” she continued, adding that they “pour a little bit on the lips and then we’d go in there and do a little bit of botox.” She said Also, she would give the actor “a nice brow lift to open her eyes.”

It wasn’t long before the post backfired on Wilson. As the video filled with unsolicited beauty tips circulated around the internet, Dyer’s fans wasted no time in defending her and slamming the nurse for making unjustified comments about her looks.

Natalia Dyer’s fans are calling out the TikToker for unjustified comments

Natalia Dyer’s fans immediately came to her defense, letting Miranda Wilson know that there is nothing wrong with her looks and that she is already beautiful as she is.

“This plastic surgeon on Tik Tok clearly has no idea what real beauty is because Natalia Dyer is GORGEOUS,” said one fan wrote. There is also a fan who pointed out that Dyer’s unique qualities make her more attractive. “The way people demonize other people’s unique traits like Natalia Dyer’s jaws, how can we acknowledge that their uniqueness is a huge factor in their beauty?” she wrote. “I’m tired of everyone being expected to look exactly the same and being insulted because they don’t fit the mold.” Another commenter stressed that male actors with similar characteristics are not ridiculed like Dyer. “I’m willing to bet a million dollars that the plastic surgeon listing all the changes she would make to Natalia Dyer’s face probably thinks Timothée Chalamet is perfect just the way he is,” they said wrote.

Wilson has since deleted the original video and apologized, clarifying that she never intended to appear mean. “I just wanted to come here and basically clean the air,” she said. “I didn’t mean to offend anyone, including Natalia… The photo was just an example.” Dyer has yet to address the situation, but in her recent feature in Vogue, she said she feels most beautiful when she wears less makeup : “I feel my best when I look like myself, you know, like an enhanced version!”
