Eric Dane has an unexpected reunion with his estranged wife, Rebecca Gayheart

What exactly is going on with Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart? The two went their separate ways in 2018 after 14 years of marriage, with Gayheart being the one who filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” At the time, the two, who share two daughters, released a joint statement, which E! News, saying, “We will continue our friendship and work together as a team to raise our two beautiful girls together as they are the most important thing in the world to us.” But it doesn’t seem like they’ve made much progress on this one since then separation made.

It was reported back in June 2019 that the Dane and Gayheart’s divorce could actually be dismissed by the court. Entertainment Tonight reportedly Gayheart has yet to either seek an annulment of the divorce or file a judgment, resulting in her receiving a warning that the whole thing could be thrown out.

What exactly was going on with the pair and their divorce has been kept a little more rock-bottom since, but could they actually be back at it now? Well, her latest Instagram uploads seem to suggest that the seemingly stalled 2018 divorce could now possibly be off the table.

Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane had a ‘family vacation’

Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane are back together! At least on Instagram. Gayheart once again left us wondering about the status of their relationship, confirming on the social media site on Aug. 15 that she and Dane had been vacationing together with their two daughters in France. She shared a shot of the former Grey’s Anatomy actor striking a goofy pose next to her eldest daughter Billie and writing in the caption, “This is us, family vacation.” The star also shared a shot of her seemingly estranged husband to her Instagram Stories and uploaded a photo of Dane and her youngest daughter Georgia wrapping their arms around each other’s shoulders and captioned it “twins.”

So does this mean that Gayheart and Dane are officially back together? Not so fast. The holiday snaps came just two months after Dane was asked by Andy Cohen on Radio Andy if he was currently single and on any dating apps. The actor unequivocally confirmed that he is indeed available, but made it clear that he’s not interested in swiping right. “It’s just weird. I’m 90’s man. I’m more of a ‘how are you?’ kind of person,” he shared.
