Elon Musk opens up on Grimes’ unusual plastic surgery requests

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, prides herself on being an independent pioneer. From her keen fashion sense, experimental indie dream pop music, and even more offbeat baby names — hello X Æ A-Xii and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk — she’s undoubtedly made her way. Grimes ignored all mansplaining as she struggled to gain recognition as a solo artist in a male-dominated industry. She also hit back at critics who questioned her ability to succeed without male leadership. Grimes expressed her feelings and vented her frustration in a Tumblr “manifesto” (via Vulture).

Grimes has entered the digital art world in 2021, according to The Verge. She and her brother Mac Boucher created ten tracks, a mix of pictures and music videos, which they sold through NiftyGateway. Within a day, the “WarNymph” collection raised $6 million in NFTs, aka “non-fungible tokens,” which appear to be blockchain-bitcoin-crypto-something related. The Verge tries to explain what it means, if you’re interested.

“WarNymph” is Grimes’ digital representation and a means for her to physically change and evolve over time. “The digital body can age, die, respawn, change face,” she told The Face. “There is so much identity potential! My human self is much more limited.” Or is it? Grimes recently expressed her desire to change her looks as well. And her baby daddy, Elon Musk, really should know better than to consider Grimes’ unusual desires for cosmetic surgery.

Elon Musk is not a fan of elf ears

Elon Musk and Grimes’ relationship is turbulent than the Bering Sea. According to The Independent, the unconventional couple share an unconventional and “very fluid” relationship. They also share two children and a decidedly unconventional mindset.

Of late, Musk has focused on repopulating the world and moving to Mars if he doesn’t buy Twitter and give up. Meanwhile, Grimes has dealt with ear changes. “Has anyone made elf ear mods with a good result? I’m afraid ear cartilages are having a hard time healing,” she said tweeted. Grimes admitted she’d always wanted elf ears but was worried the surgery could hurt her music career. “The disadvantages of elf ear surgery probably outweigh the advantages”, Musk meant. “Girl, take care of your children” a hater advised.

When it comes to caring for X Æ A-Xii and Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, it seems like everything is up to Grimes unless she desires a fluid relationship that stretches far beyond the realm of the afar. According to Vanity Fair, Musk told her “he plans to go to Mars in 10 years” while she was expecting X. Grimes asked if he could wait another decade to see their kids grow up, but no dice. “It wasn’t new information,” Musk told Vanity Fair. “I already said before she was pregnant that I would go to Mars.” Musk had better make an effort as he only has eight years left to meet his deadline.
