Fans of “Selling Sunset” know that Chrishell Stause was one of the first ladies of the Oppenheim group to realize Christine Quinn isn’t as nice as she seems, per Us Weekly. From Season 1, the friendship between the two finally fell apart in the finale when Quinn verbally attacked Stause at a party. The two have been at odds ever since, and things reportedly got really bad when Quinn went to the press to discuss Stause’s divorce from Justin Hartley.
“She tried to spread a false story when I was getting a divorce and I had to get both sides to confirm it wasn’t true and then threatened legal action,” the former soap opera actor told Vulture in 2021. She mentioned her co-star also attempted to tell the press a false story about her relationship with Jason Oppenheim. “That was a lot of steps too far for me,” she added.
Stause also had drama with Davina Potratz when they feuded in the season 3 finale. Potratz made some not-so-nice comments about Stause’s recent divorce from Hartley. Stause remained silent and eventually left the scene prematurely. The two eventually hugged in Season 4 of the show and they hit it off, as Potratz spoke to People about how happy and supportive she is of her co-star’s new relationship with G-Flip. But it seems another co-star is getting on Stause’s nerves.
Chrishell Stause calls an unnamed co-star ‘fake’
Though Christine Quinn may have gotten on the bad side of everyone over the five seasons of Selling Sunset, Chrishell Stause seems to bond with the rest of her co-stars, most notably Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, Emma Hernan, and even newcomer Chelsea Lazkani. But as Season 6 began filming, Stause revealed there was drama involving an unnamed co-star.
“The thirst for camera time in Season 6 is REAL,” the real estate agent said on her Instagram Stories (via Page Six). “Wow. That was madness. But also SO transparent. Get your 15 minute girl, but leave me out of it.” Stause also teased that this person had a problem with her, but only when the cameras were around, adding that she was “fake s** *” hates. While leaving names out of her post, she hinted that “Selling Sunset” fans will know who she’s talking about when the new season is released.
According to her Instagram page, Stause follows most of the girls in the office like Hernan, Young, Lazkani, Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith and Vanessa Villela. She’s also still following Maya Vander — who won’t be returning to the show in Season 6 — and her ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim. She’s not following the newest members of the cast, Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young, but since she didn’t drop names, we’ll have to wait until Season 6 airs to see who Stause messes with.
