Candace Cameron Bure received an unexpected gift amid a JoJo-Siwa feud

The drama between JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure has proven to be the gift that keeps giving. It all started in July when Siwa called the “Fuller House” actor the rudest celebrity she’s ever met in a TikTok video. That video, although only six seconds long, immediately went viral, with fans and rumor-mongers clamoring for more information about the alleged fight. (After all, who doesn’t love drama?)

Finally, on July 27, Bure released a video statement in which she described a conversation with Siwa about her alleged spat. Long story short, the actor apparently snubbed Siwa during the red carpet premiere of her show Fuller House in 2016, which angered the former child star. “I did not know it! … I had no idea,” Bure exclaimed on Instagram. “[But] I was finally able to speak to JoJo this morning. I called her. And we had a great conversation.” Siwa also confirmed to Page Six that she and Bure had spoken on the phone and had already made peace. “She apologized and we talked. It was cool. It was nice,” she said.

Now that their messy drama is finally behind them, a funny someone has poked fun at their situation by sending Bure a surprise gift as an elaborate joke for the laughs. And the actor-host thought it was really hilarious!

Candace Cameron Bure received a JoJo Siwa gift

Following reports of her reconciliation with Jojo Siwa, Candace Cameron Bure revealed that she received a PR gift from the Diamond Art Club that included Siwa’s diamond painting set. The actress made the reveal on her Instagram Story on August 4, giving a glimpse of the package that came with a quick note. It read: “Candace – I hope you love this JoJo Siwa x DiamondArtClub gift! xx Diamond Art Club.”

Luckily Bure was amused. “I found that really funny. There’s a PR company that sent me a gift,” she said, laughing. “Coincidence? Just weird timing? I don’t know.” Separately, she said she thought the gift was “really cute” and vowed to open it “if any of my goddaughters come over.”

Bure seems completely unperturbed, even as Siwa’s mom Jessalynn took to social media over the messy drama. On Aug. 1, Jessalynn posted an old clip from her podcast, in which she discussed her daughter’s “sour” encounter with Bure at the 2016 premiere of “Fuller House.” “The story recently told wasn’t entirely true, so here’s the real version,” she captioned the video, before giving Bure a jab. “At the end of the day, this story isn’t about a simple photo, it’s about how you treat people,” she wrote. “Genuine, sincere kindness is always enough. It’s super easy to quote a Bible verse when everyone is looking at you, but morality is what you have when no one is looking.”
