‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Braunwyn Windham-Burke has reportedly taken a hit in the romance department. The reality star came out as a lesbian in December 2020, becoming the first lead of the Real Housewives cast member to do so, telling GLAAD, “I’m just starting to feel like I’m becoming the woman I was meant to be. So that I live very authentically and say: ‘I’m a lesbian. I always have been.’ That’s nothing new because I think a lot of people are going to be like, ‘Oh, suddenly you’re one.’ no I’ve always known it. But personally, it’s taken me 42 years to feel comfortable enough in my own skin to be able to say that.”
Braunwyn later went public with her romance with model Victoria Brito but remained married to her husband Sean Burke. “I’m definitely smitten. I have a beautiful relationship,” Braunwyn gushed of Brito to The US Sun in April (four months after TMZ shared snaps of them making out on the beach), while getting very candid about their sex life. And we mean very openly. “The physical part of it is amazing. I won’t lie, the sex is next level. I hope every woman will experience at least once in her life what I’ve been experiencing lately,” she gushed. adding, “I’m just so grateful and so thankful to have this second chance at life to fall in love with a woman.”
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Victoria Brito have split
According to TMZ, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Victoria Brito have called it quits after around nine months together. Braunwyn doesn’t appear to have publicly discussed the split just yet, but did share a candid video on Instagram Stories. On July 7, the star released a message for others trying to maintain their sobriety, as well as anyone who is facing difficult times. “Every time I think, okay, it can’t get any worse, it does,” she said, laughing. “I have these moments where I haven’t sobered up because it was so hard. But having said that I don’t drink and if I did it would be worse,” she added, also telling fans, “So if you’re going through something or you’ve been going through it for a while, I wish I could give you some advice ‘Cause I’m still in it, I’m not on the other side yet, but I want you to know you’re not alone, because sometimes I’m like, ‘What now?'”
Braunwyn’s split came shortly after the reality star’s estranged husband, Sean Burke (whom she refers to as her ex-husband), revealed he was back in the dating game too, telling Page Six in April that he’s been on a few dates had with someone
