Bethenny Frankel tears up Meghan Markle over unattributable podcast

Bethany Frankel is known for sharing her outspoken opinions on everything from celebrity drama to political issues. The former ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star recently lashed out at the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, hinting that society needs a break from the famous family. “Can we just have a ‘Kardashian break’?” Frankel exclaimed on an Aug. 8 episode of her podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel. She added, “Just a brief hiatus from the service so we can all clean our palates and not get inundated with Kardashian culture…” The Skinny Girl founder went on to explain that she, too, was once a victim of the Kardashian frenzy. She now feels satiated.

Frankel is well aware that her unfiltered opinions can sometimes be too candid. During a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, the New York native exclaimed that she’d “rather get canceled than muzzled.” Now, Frankel is making good on her promise to always speak her mind, as the reality star just slammed Meghan Markle for saying she’s “unrelatable.”

Bethenny Frankel calls Meghan Markle hypocritical

Bethenny Frankel has made no secret of her dislike for Meghan Markle, and in an Aug. 31 episode of her podcast, Just B with Betheny Frankel, the entrepreneur pulled at the former royal. “Bottom line, I think people don’t like Meghan Markle because I think she speaks badly to other people,” Frankel said. “I think she’s hypocritical. And I think there’s this subtext of the elevation… it’s up there and we’re down here.”

Frankel went on to say that Markle is very similar to the cast of the “Real Housewives” franchise in that she “can’t stop talking about the very thing that she doesn’t want to be irrelevant to.” To further support her point, Frankel explains that Markle’s experience of dealing with racist members of the royal family is very different from the everyday experiences of private individuals.

This wasn’t the first time the former Bravo star lashed out at Markle. Ahead of the “Suits” actor’s 2021 sit-down interview with Oprah, Frankel called Markle a “fairly unknown actress” who had secured “hundreds of millions in media deals” simply by marrying into the royal family. And while Frankle did eventually apologize to Markle for her previous riff, the reality star clearly hasn’t backed down.
