Ashton Kutcher Shares Positive Update After Revealing Previous Health Fears

Ashton Kutcher is keeping fans updated after sharing his experience of a rare disease in 2019 that left him feeling alive. The star and his wife Mila Kunis are notorious for being quite private (“I’ve learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are part of that. And I’ll put all of that into it.” do everything in my power to keep this relationship private,” he told Elle about Carter Matt in 2013, but he’s speaking out now.

Though he likes to keep personal things rock-bottom, the former That ’70s Show star got very candid about something personal — his health — on the Aug. 9 episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge. Explaining that he once suffered from the autoimmune disease vasculitis, Kutcher described his particular case as “super rare,” so rare that he actually had trouble seeing, hearing, and even maintaining his balance, according to Entertainment Tonight. “The moment you start seeing your obstacles as things made for you, to give you what you need, that’s when life starts to be fun, right?” Kutcher said, noting: “You start surfing on your problems instead of living among them.”

But how is the actor really doing now after his major health crisis?

Ashton Kutcher has made a full recovery

Of course, news of Ashton Kutcher’s past health crisis spread quickly online, so the star embraced it Twitter on August 8th to confirm that he is thankfully much better now. “Before there’s a lot of rumor/chatter/whatever out there. Yes, I had a rare episode of vasculitis 3 years ago. (Autoimmune flair) I had some hearing impairments, vision impairments, balance issues right after. I made a full recovery. All good,” Kutcher wrote on the social media page. He added that he was already past the scary incident and will be running the 2022 New York Marathon as before tweeted. So it’s him Yes, really then recovered! Speaking about his road to recovery on Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge (via Entertainment Tonight), the What Happens In Vegas actor revealed it took about a year for him to regain full strength had returned.

That’s not the only health scare Kutcher has struggled with, however. Speaking on “Hot Ones” in October 2021, Mila Kunis confirmed that her husband had actually contracted pancreatitis twice for a role because of one of his bizarre diets. “He was so stupid. He only ate grapes once, it was so stupid. We ended up in the hospital twice with pancreatitis!” she shared. Thankfully, Kutcher has fully recovered from that, too.
