Ariana Grande experiences terrifying fear of a stalker in her own home

Ariana Grande was just the target of a spooky burglary. The “thank u, next” singer, who has long been targeted by stalkers, was confronted with yet another unauthorized incident at her Montecito mansion on Sunday June 26, according to the Daily Mail. Besides her house, Grandes Stalkers have also performed at her concerts and even on her record label.

Grande is far from the first pop star to have unwanted fans storming her property, with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and other celebrities dealing with creepy stalkers. In 2019, Swift told Elle, “Websites and tabloids have made it their mission to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you start preparing for bad things to happen.” While there’s much to be envied for the rich and famous, this is one aspect of the territory we tend to miss.

To make matters worse for Grande, the burglary happened on her 29th birthday. She also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after the bombing of her 2017 Manchester concert. While thankfully she wasn’t home when the stalker intruded, the details of the break-in are chilling.

The stalker had previously been arrested for other visits

While Ariana Grande has had other stalkers in the past, the most recent was a repeat offender. Aharon Brown appeared at her Hollywood Hills home multiple times throughout 2021 and was eventually arrested after pulling out a hunting knife and threatening to kill Grande and her security in September, per the Daily Mail. Grande filed a five-year restraining order against Brown after that encounter, but that didn’t stop him from violating it. Two days after Sunday’s burglary, he was scheduled to turn himself in Tuesday to get too close to Grande again.

When she first received the restraining order in 2021, Grande said, “Because of his threats, I fear for my safety and for the safety of my family. I am concerned that without a restraining order, Mr. Brown will continue to come to my home and attempt to physically harm or murder me or members of my family.” The pop star added that Brown is “almost every day and sometimes multiple times a day.” showed up at her house.

According to Page Six, Brown now faces charges including stalking and burglary. However, he pleaded not guilty to everyone. Grande paid no attention to Brown on her birthday and chose not to make a public statement. Instead, she posted an adorable home video from her early days.
