Andy Dick is in trouble with the law again

In recent years, comedian-actor Andy Dick has had no shortage of legal troubles, particularly surrounding sexual assault allegations. In 2017, Dick was fired from the film “Raising Buchanan” for inappropriate sexual conduct on set. Insiders claimed he groped, kissed and licked her and made sexual suggestions to at least four people on the team, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dick told the outlet: “I didn’t grope anyone. I might have kissed someone on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing – I licked Carrie Fisher over a roast. I’m funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people.”

Unfortunately, there are more allegations. In 2018, Dick was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery and misdemeanor battery after allegedly groping a stranger’s buttocks and making vulgar remarks, per TMZ. He later pleaded not guilty, according to Page Six. In 2019, Dick pled not guilty to groping a Lyft driver, according to USA Today. In 2021, he was arrested on domestic violence charges when he allegedly attacked his boyfriend with a liquor bottle, per TMZ. That same year, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, according to Page Six. Now Dick has another suspected crime to add to his extensive list of legal troubles.

Andy Dick is said to have stolen power tools from a house

On October 13, Andy Dick was arrested for allegedly stealing power tools from a home in California. According to TMZ, he pleaded not guilty to first-degree home burglary. He is currently in the Santa Barbara Jail on $50,000 bail. Dick allegedly took several power tools from a garage of a house under construction. He was apparently caught in the act by police trying to leave the property. Dick’s attorney, Brian Mathis, told TMZ they are “confident that more facts will come to light in support of Mr. Dick as this case progresses.”

Dick has recently had major problems with the law. In May, Dick was arrested for sexual assault, according to Page Six. The incident was caught on the livestream, with a YouTuber named “JJ” claiming the comedian molested him while he was sleeping. Dick was released from jail after posting 10% of his $25,000 bail, according to another Page Six report. In late May, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told The Hill that Dick would not be charged because the victim failed to comply with the investigation. A spokesman for the sheriff’s office stated, “The case cannot be advanced without the help of the victim.”
